wonder Lil Bub is an Internet sensation. Now, scientists want to sequence the genome
of the cat celebrity, Gizmodo reports. The researchers are using a
crowdfunding campaign to fund their work, which will help them
understand the genetic underpinnings of the cat’s extra toes and rare
bone condition known as osteopetrosis. The work could help other cats
with similar conditions in the future, researchers say.
