FAIRPLAY - There's a cat in Fairplay that stands out from its peers. So much so, he is helping other cats get adopted. Andre the Giant is having a big impact on animal adoptions in the Park County town.
The 25-pound cat was a stray before he was adopted by the owner of High Paw Pet Supplies and Animal Rescue of the Rockies. Andre the Giant proved so popular, he's become a mascot of sorts. He has his own Facebook page and Instagram account.
The store's owner says people are coming in to see Andre and adopting other cats from the animal rescue housed downstairs.
