Catherine Allen's pet rabbit Flo had always had the run of her apartment, but when Allen moved in with her parents a few months ago, the bunny had to move outside into a hutch, because the house was Yoyo's territory. "We were a little bit frightened putting the cat and the bunny together. We weren't quite sure what would happen."
Over the past couple of months, her father Phil Allen has been getting Flo and Yoyo to play nicely, and the two have become mates. They're still supervised visits, Allen jokes. "There's always an adult there."
Flo will run around the back yard and nibble of a few leaves, while the cat just watches. Then Flo will come and lie down in front of Yoyo and that is when it gets interesting. YoYo starts licking Flo, Allen said. "She just loves it. She closes her eyes. She gets a wet head. And when he has finished Flo just hops off. "
