BHUTAN: Fantastic camera trap images of snow leopards in Wangchuck Centennial Park

Courtesy: WWF
The "Mountain Ghost" is alive and well in Bhutan.  The elusive snow leopard is
under threat from climate change, poaching and retaliatory killing from livestock
herders but a strong prey base in
Wangchuck Centennial Park gives hope.

In Bhutan the snow leopard shares some of its range with the tiger which faces
similar threats. Both big cats are apex predators, human action being their only
threat .
