Belfast Zoo Barbary lion Qays celebrates his 12th birthday in style

Qays was born in 2003 and arrived at Belfast Zoo in 2005
Qays was certainly the mane man at Belfast Zoo this weekend.
The Barbary lion is celebrating his 12th birthday, and he did so complete with gifts and a roaring welcome from visitors.
Qays was born in 2003 and arrived at Belfast Zoo from Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in 2005.
Since then he has become a favourite with staff and visitors.
