The FCF accreditation has been given to a handful of feline facilities, according to FCF Executive Director Lynn Culver.  It is given to zoos, sanctuaries and private big cat owners that meet a high standard of care and protection of the animals and public, Culver said in a news release.

Promised Land Zoo, open since May, 2013, the 9-acre park cares for lion, tiger, serval and and caracal cats.

Jeff Sanders and his family own and operate Promised Land Zoo.  It is Sanders second zoo.  Promised Land Zoo in Eagle Rock, Missouri opened 25 years ago.
